It ’s justtwo week into the second seasonof The Mandalorian and we still have no mind incisively what ’s fall out . While some of the rumorshave been true , many othershave yet to materialize , leaving fan uneasily awaiting where this tale is going to take us . The fact that Lucasfilm is n’t releasing any info on the instalment until the Monday after they debut is keeping stacks of those secrets too .

This past weekend though , I happened to find what I believe to be a very minor freebooter in theStar Wars Card Trader by Topps(which means it was officially approved by Lucasfilm ) . And since spoilers are so hard to come by for The Mandalorian , we count on it was worth talk over .

This weekend , Star Wars Card Trader debuted a unexampled set call “ The Mandalorian Static Series 2 . ” It include a bill of fare that reckon to be a ship that ’s yet to appear on the show , which means it could only be from an upcoming installment . The ship is some variation of an Arquitens class ship , most frequently seen in The Clone Wars . Though that ship was oft used by the Jedi , there were alsoArquitens - class mastery patrol car , which were sometimes used by the Empire . This image looks a moment closer to that . We ca n’t be 100 % indisputable what it is but since these epitome are prescribed and approved by Lucasfilm , it lead us to bear The Mandalorian will feature a big - nates purple ship shortly . That fact alone gives this second season much more scope . But whose ship is it ? What does it mean ?

We assume the shipis Moff Gideon ’s , considering he ’s the only uniformed Imperial officer we ’ve see on the show ( and he ’s go to work a liberal character in the next few episodes ) . While it may have initially seemed as if he only had a small band of Stormtroopers at his disposal , as well as a single TIE Fighter , we ’ve seen coup d’oeil in The Mandalorian ’s late trailers of purple base . A command cruiser is something much bigger of row , and if this ship is his , it changes his power well . If this is his dictation ship , obviously he has a lot more weapons and soldier at his disposal . He could even have links to what will finally become the First Order , for all we know .

All of that would make it much more hard for Din Djarin to protect the Child from Gideon on his own . Our Mando is a peachy warrior , but not many pilot can defeat an entire squadron of TIEs and a huge cruiser by themselves . Which then bestow to mind the scene at the terminal ofChapter 10 , “ The Passenger . ”We now bed the New Republic know about the Mandalorian . Could that have in mind he ’ll request their assist with his mission to bring through the near Baby Yoda ? Could they contend Moff Gideon alongside him ? Are all of these possibilities a bit too big for a show like The Mandalorian ? We do n’t know .
