A dozen people who wereinjured and hospitalizedfollowing theshooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl paradeon Wednesday have been released.

A spokesperson for Children’s Mercy Hospital confirmed toEntertainment Tonightthat all 12 of its patients from the shooting were discharged on Saturday. This includesnine children who were treated for gunshot woundsand two more children who were treated for other injuries.

“We have great news to share — all patients have been discharged from Children’s Mercy,” a hospital official toldETin a statement, adding that they would not schedule any press conferences or interviews this weekend.

Children’s Mercy Hospital did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The hospital said in a news briefing on Wednesday that it had been treating nine children with gunshot wounds and that they all were expected to make a full recovery.

The shooting, which took place on Wednesday afternoon around Union Station in Kansas City, Mo.,left one woman deadand22 other people injured, according to police. Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves said at the time that at least half of the people injured were under the age of 16, and that the age of those injured ranged from 8 to 47 years old.

Graves also noted that they had initially detained three juveniles while investigating the incident, though he said in a later update that the third juvenile was released after it was determined he had not been involved.

On Friday, police announced that two juveniles faced gun-related and resisting arrest charges in connection with the shooting. They were not identified due to their minor status and were placed in a juvenile detention center.

Graves announced that the motive behind the shooting wasnot believed to be related to terrorism, but rather “a dispute between several people that ended in gunfire.”
