Last nighttime on Once Upon A prison term , we ascertain the backstory to Ruby , aka Red Riding Hood . It was filler of the high bod — and pretty all over the berth . In one episode , Ruby met her mamma , learned how to contain her wolf changing side , solidify her relationship with Snow White , and killed her mom … and then some other stuff happened . It was laden with crackadoodle quotation mark .

RESPONSE : Why are these citizenry holding torches . Did magic come back and destroy all the torch , headlight and lantern ? What about street lights ? This town has burned down almost 1,000 times , Charming should have put a stop to random fire brigade .

RESPONSE : Wait , does n’t Jefferson just have a shitload of non - magical hats in his house ? The previous hat was no longer magic ? So how is this unlike from all the other hats in his house ? Sure Charming and Ruby do n’t know that , but would n’t their first move be to go to Jefferson ’s theatre and ask him to make a NEW hat ?

RESPONSE : Woof .
I dunno … this was not a majuscule episode for me . I did n’t buy that Ruby cared about any of her new wolf pals . Plus it all felt like it happened in one day , whereas I hazard it was really two twenty-four hours or something . It was bad . Ruby was not selling me on any emotion , deplorably . Also , is it uncanny that the masher people change without recede their dress ? I know it ’s legerdemain , but it still feels weird .
Oh well — next week looks a lot better . I ’m kind of curious about the incubus talks between Aurora and Henry .
