An American squad of archaeologists have come across two ancient Egyptian tombs near Luxor . implausibly , its attractively adorned walls , though 3,500 years old , have retain their brilliant colors , allow us to see these amazing murals in what is practically their original glory .
The tombs were unearth by archaeologists from the American Research Center in Egypt ( ARCE ) alongside Egypt ’s Ministry of Antiquities . Both tombs were discovered last week while the archaeologist were mapping an area of Sheik Abd Qurna , a court referred to as Theban Tomb 110 .
The tombs have been dated to the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom , which endure from 1543 to 1292 BC .

The grave were found fill up with debris , but the unclouded sections still have beautiful scene with hopeful color on plaster . grant to the ARCE archeologist , the shot depict the tomb possessor and his wife in front of an offering table . On one bulwark , a house painting shows the grave owner making offering to a goddess nursing a royal child . Others picture vista of day-by-day life and the grave owner ’s funerary religious rite .
Sadly , the tombs were reveal to ancient vandalism . Some of the texts , including the name and statute title of the possessor , were damage . That said , preliminary examinations of the partial remnants have revealed the proprietor ’s name , title , and household . An dedication states that one of the tombs belong to Amenhotep , a ostiarius of the god Amun . His wife is named Satamen , and their son , whose image were erased long ago , was Samut .
The entrance to the second grave is shaped as a “ T ” . It consists of a dorm , which result to another sleeping room with a minor , unfinished niche at its end . Its southerly entrance leads to a small way with a middle shaft the archaeologist consider may conduct to a sepulture chamber .
