According toMozilla , the whole heap is a consequence of an expired credentials for signing new extensions and is unrelated to a recentadd - on policy update . The policy update is more about pass security department risks for future add - ons by no longer accepting reference with “ obfuscate codification . ” The policy change also state that Mozilla will be more proactive about blocking extensions .
