Photographer John Crane was out ice climbing and trip up upon a beautiful ice cave that he want to shoot perfectly . The problem was that it was hard to bewitch all the short details without a flash gel . Crane say :
unhinged white balance adjustment was n’t find it done , and in my effort to ( for once ) minimize the outfit brought to keep the clique lighting , wink accessories were limited . The ceiling of the cave was full of a beautiful , green , soft moss and “ Lord of the Rings ” style blades of pure , vitreous silica - clean , perfectly suave ice . “ Wish I had a light-green gelatin … ” I said .
And that ’s when his friend suggested he apply a yield roll - up instead . The delicious snack delivered the desired upshot : he have a neat look image , a better news report and a tasty treat . [ OutdoorPhotoBlogviaCrunchGear ]
