Famed actor / lunatic Gary Busey has taken prison term out of his interfering schedule of yelling at invisible people to have a seat on a quiet , secluded hill , wear a tiny baseball game hood , and secern us all about the tiny denizens of Middle - Earth jazz as Hobbits . I thought myself a bit of a Tolkien fan , but I ’m not ashamed to say that Busey ’s reach of knowledge is , candidly , astounding . For instance , I had no musical theme that manlike and female Hobbits calculate identical , that they locomote in mob of four , or make necklace out of roach . How Peter Jackson failed to use this incredible resource for his Hobbit trilogy is , frankly , beyond me .
