My persuasion here were to make them experience a bit more like received armed services and the twinned hull was an instantly placeable feature . The open bay on the sides and front are hangar that would be check by a force field for fighter craft .

At this point Joe bespeak that the Cargo bays be eliminated on the sides as he felt it give the ship a sail ship appearance .
