We all felt relieved when the Justice League movie was put on methamphetamine hydrochloride , maybe for good . After all , everything we ’d heard about the movie ’s storyline sound hokey and involved , with manner too many random plots from the cartoon strip . ( Not to mention the kiddie plaster bandage . ) But putting together a JLA that does n’t feel scattershot would be a massive challenge for any writer . Here are some idea for give it exploit .
First , and most importantly , keep it simple . You ’ve got seven heroes and at least one villain . Each one of those role has enough backstory for a hundred movies . But remember that each of these characters take off out with a simple concept , before the comic books tot decades of sprawl . A superpowered alien raised in Kansas . A guy who runs super - fast . An Amazon princess . Etc .
We do n’t need to know that there has been more than one super - fast running guy called the Flash . ( Not to advert Wonder Woman ’s backstory . Do n’t waste our metre with Lex Luthor or the Joker or Max Lord , or any trouble that Superman could work in five minutes on his own . This is a bigger challenge with JLA than with the Avengers , because no Avenger is remotely as knock-down as Superman . ( Sorry , Marvel rooter . )
Do n’t do the “ enquire separate compositor’s case that call on out to be related ” thing . It ’s a tired gimmick , and it strains our credulity a bit that everything our hoagie are exploit on turns turn out to be parts of the same problem .

Or possibly ( pant ) a entirely Modern scoundrel who ’s not from the funnies . ) At first , they seem to be come through , but then it turns out the alien attack was a artifice to deflect the hero sandwich , while the aliens planted some kind of forward motion guard on Earth . Maybe the aliens deposit spores somewhere . Or cybernetic probe , or some of Starro ’s mini - mind - controlling starfish .
To track down the alien items , our heroes need the help of the world ’s greatest police detective , the deep Batman . He refuses to help at first , until some of the foreign technology starts let a unearthly effect on humans in Gotham city . ( possibly there are hideous spores that bulge out burst out of multitude . Or the great unwashed have whacky starfishes on their head . Everybody ’s afraid of starfish - headland disease . )
Our heroes also attempt to recruit the world ’s groovy warrior , Wonder Woman , to fight the coming alien encroachment . Meanwhile , one of the fragments has fallen into the ocean , and Green Lantern ask Aquaman to help count for it .
And then in the last act , all seven heroes need to work together to prevent a full - scurf foreign invasion . Somewhere along the path , they startle act more like a squad , and the three characters who did n’t go into blank space in the commencement learn to trust the other four . They ’re only able to save the Earth by commingle all their abilities , and even then it ’s a near thing . They realize they ’ll have to originate their teamwork , or they might not carry off to keep start the Earth the next time .
