In a sweetInstagram poston Monday, one day after the2020 Golden Globe Awards, theHustlersstar shared a photo of the couple in the car on their way to the awards ceremony, where Lopez was nominated for best supporting actress in a motion picture.

Lopez, 50, also humorously added the hashtag “#alexappreciationpost.”

The adorable post came just hours after Rodriguez, 44,shared his own sweet noteto Lopez after the actress ended uplosing the Golden Globe awardtoMarriage Story‘sLaura Dernon Sunday night. (Other nominees in the category includedKathy Bates,Annette Bening, andMargot Robbie.)

Alongside a photo of his fiancée on the red carpet during the ceremony, the retired baseball player wroteon Instagram, “Jen, it doesn’t take a trophy, medal, or plaque to identify a true champion.”

On the red carpet prior to the awards show, Lopez — who wore agorgeous Valentino gownfor the occasion —spoke about all the trainingshe did to perfect her dancing inHustlers, in which she played a stripper. During an interview withRyan Seacreston the E! red carpet pre-show, the actress explained that she wanted to make sure the audience saw it was really her doing the impressive moves.

“I was like, ‘Please get a close up of my face, even if I look like a bat hanging down, please make sure they know it was me so they didn’t think it was a stunt double.’ It was hard,” Lopez said.

“The one great benefit is having a pole in our master bedroom for six months,” Rodriguez added cheekily.

The athlete and thefuture Super Bowl half-time performerdated for two years before theygot engaged last March.
