John LegendandChrissy Teigenhave renewed their vows in celebration of their 10th wedding anniversary!
The couple, who tied the knot on Sept. 14, 2013, in Lake Como, Italy, returned totheir wedding destinationthis weekend, a source tells PEOPLE.
Later in the day, the vow renewal ceremony took place. “[John and Chrissy] came out onto a balcony and greeted all the guests,” the insider says. “[John] also held a brief speech later, after the dinner.”
“There was dancing and there was a lakeside bar that was a big favorite,” the source continues. “The food was appreciated.”
The source also notes there were “flowers everywhere,” adding: “It’s been a very elegant, very classic event.”

Teigen, 37, and Legend, 44. first met in 2006 on the set of the singer’s music video for his single “Stereo.”
In the early years of their relationship, the pair traveled to Lake Como together, which is where Teigen first realized she wanted to marry her now husband.
She continued, “A boat tour guide took us to a little spot on the lake and told us to make a wish. I asked for this to be the man I marry and have children with. I think John asked for the most perfect bite of cacio e pepe. Both came true, and here we are.”
In December 2011,Legend proposed to Teigen, and the two then wed in a private ceremony on Sept. 10 at a New York City courthouse.
Four days later, they celebrated and exchanged their vows in the Italian town, whereTeigen wore a Vera Wang gownand Legend serenaded her with “All of Me,” the 2013 love song he dedicated in her honor.
Teigen, who sharesfour children—Luna Simone, 7,Miles Theodore, 5,Esti Maxine, 9 months, andWren Alexander, 2 months — with her husband, teased the couple’s 10-year anniversary celebrations on social media earlier this week.
On her Instagram Story Thursday, Teigen teased that the “10th anniversary weekend is commmming” with a snapshot of a poolside location.
“The most perfect day,” she also wrote, adding the hashtag “#johnXchrissy.”
