On Monday, Dunne, 21, showed off her flexibility on the beam when sheshareda photo of herself from practice at LSU’s gym on Instagram.

The popular athlete captioned her post, “seasons greetings,” with an emoji of a smirking cat.

“Tryna be that bar,” the comment read. An hour later, Dunne wrote back, “It’s a beam.”

The commenter, still trying to get in with the gymnast, quickly corrected himself, writing, “tryna be that beam.”

Dunne’s popularity as a gymnast and social media star has invited unwanted attention to her in the last year.

In January, a chaotic scenebroke out at the University of Utahwhen her team traveled to compete, despite Dunne having been injured during the meet.

Sports Illustratedreportedat the time that crowds of young men gathered outside of the building and chanted “We want Livvy! Give us Livvy!” during other gymnasts’ routines.

Utah sports writer Josh Furlong was covering the meet in real time and said, “There’s literally a line outside of the Huntsman Center of teenage boys that keepasking if Livvy is coming out. I’ve never seen anything like this,” in a post on X.

Police intervened andLSU’s team busultimately had to move “so they didn’t have to run into the group of boys. There were cops stationed in front to avoid them getting in,” wrote Furlong.

In November, Dunne told PEOPLE that LSU has stepped in to make sure fans have “settled down a bit” since the incident in Utah, and she now travels with a security team.

“We haven’t competed since last season, so we’ll see what this season holds. But after the incident in Utah that happened last year, we now have a security guard that travels with the LSU gymnastics team,” Dunne told PEOPLE.

The LSU gymnast also shared that her relationship with former LSU pitcherPaul Skenes, 21, has helped her navigate life in the public eye. “I’ve definitely learned over the past few years that, this past year mostly, that keeping certain things private is okay,” Dunne said.

“It’s funny because there’s speculations at first about it, but I guess people caught onto us having pictures and videos together out in public, so that’s kind of how the news broke.”

“But we try to keep things private,” Dunne added.
