Varied and intimate objects from the personal collection of former President Ronald Reagan andhis wife, former First Lady Nancy Reagan, will be featured in an upcoming Christie’s auction.

Running the gamut of the late couple’s storied life – from Hollywood to the White House and beyond – the collection includes everything from furniture and housewares, to personal photos, books, jewelry and gifts from prominent figures in politics and entertainment.

Comprised of more than 700 items taken from the Reagans’ Bel Air, California, home, the collection will be auctioned online from Sept. 19-28. There will also be live auctions at the Christie’s New York City salesroom on Sept. 21 and 22. Proceeds from the sale will go toward the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, according to the couple’s wishes.

Notable pieces from the live sales include a gift from singerFrank Sinatrato President Reagan in honor of his Jan. 20, 1981 inauguration. The present, a Tiffany & Co. watch, was contained in a mahogany, three-tier box with the engraving, “Good Morning Mr. President.”

Online items include a set of personalized desk accessories, designer purses and even liquor.

“The generosity and foresight of President and Mrs. Reagan ensures that the Foundation, and the presidential library it supports, will be equipped to pursue its mission,” John Heubusch, executive director of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, said in a press release from the organization. “It is our honor to fulfill their wishes for the benefit of countless numbers who will visit the Reagan Library in the future.”
