The actress, 26, who stars as Bea in the upcoming movieAnyone But You, appeared onThe Tonight ShowStarringJimmy Fallonon Tuesday, sporting an elegant figure-hugging dress and matching crocodile purse from Balmain.
Her dress consisted of a corset bodice with shoulder pads on top of the short sleeves, as well as a flower on the hip.
Also wearing matching red lipstick and a pair of pointy stiletto heels, Sweeney looked sophisticated as she leftThe Tonight Showin New York City.

After speaking to Fallon, 49, aboutAnyone But You,which is set in Sydney, Australia, Sweeney revealed she experienced a major surprise while on set.
“There is a scene where towards the end of the movie Glen Powell jumps out of a helicopter and runs up the opera steps, the Sydney Opera House,” Sweeney said.
“While were filming the scene, there was like all these security guards and these helicopters,” she continued. “We were like, ‘Wow, we’ve gotten really big and serious, this is great.’ And then we come to find out thatBarack Obamais there and they’re actually there for him and not us.”

“We were in the middle of the scene and I’m supposed to be screaming but then my screaming got a little serious,” Sweeney joked. “They thought I was making really serious dramatic choices in a rom-com. So no one cut.”
She then explained that her co-star Glen Powell, who plays Ben inAnyone But You“was the only one” who figured out that she was really in pain, leading to the medical team intervening.

Sweeney and Powell, 35, were recently pictured laughing and posing together while at theworld premiere ofAnyone But Youat New York City’s AMC Lincoln Square on Monday.
The pair appeared in great spirits as Sweeney wore a Miu Miu embellished sheath gown, while Powell sported a navy blue-gray suit jacket with matching pants.
Anyone But Youis in movie theaters on Dec. 22.
