Former first daughtersJenna Bush HagerandBarbara Pierce Bushare celebrating their sisterhood — this time, with a children’s book.
On Tuesday, Jennarevealed the cover of their new bookduring her hosting duties on theTodayshow. “It’s calledSisters Firstlike our other book, but it’s a children’s book,” said Jenna on the show, referencingthe siblings' 2017 memoirabout coming of age in the White House.
“And it’s all about sisterhood, whether it’sblood sisters like Barbara and me orfriends or colleagues like y’all,” she continued. “[Sisterhood] can make your life better than you ever thought possible and make you do things that make you feel braver than you ever thought.”
The 37-year-old twin daughters of former PresidentGeorge W. Bushand former First Lady Laura Bush — and granddaughters of formerPresident George H.W. Bushand former First LadyBarbara Bush— have made names for themselves beyond their famous political family. While Bush Hager is a correspondent on NBC’sToday,Pierce Bush is the CEO and co-founder ofGlobal Health Corps.

Together, the sisters dance and play, quickly becoming inseparable. The cover features two little girls in a hot-air balloon who look very similar to Jenna’s daughters:Poppy Louise, 3, andMargaret “Mila” Laura, 5½.
“I adore both of my preciously different girls and, like my Mama, I hope to help them see their unique qualities as gifts,” Jenna wrote in a 2018 essay,according toToday.

“I want to help them to embrace their strengths and when it comes to their shortcomings,teach them to be easy on themselves,” she added.
The Bush sisters hope to teach this lesson — as well as the importance of sisterhood — to children everywhere with their new book.
