AsTaylor Swift’s new friendship withBrittany and Patrick Mahomescontinues to grow, there may be tension between the couple andTravis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend,Kayla Nicole.
Nicole, a model and sports media personality, unfollowed Brittany and Patrick, both 28, on Instagram as of Sunday afternoon, amid the rumored relationship between her ex-boyfriend and Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife, however, both still follow Nicole, 31, as of Monday afternoon.
Nicole, who dated the Chiefs tight end on and off between 2017 and 2022, also unfollowed Patrick’s brother,Jackson Mahomes, on Instagram.
On Saturday,Brittany stepped out for dinner in New York City with Swiftand friends as speculation continues about her and Kelce’s rumored relationship. The group, which includedBlake LivelyandSophie Turner, dined at the Italian restaurant Emilio’s Ballato for over four hours, with Brittany staying until 1 a.m., while Swift left shortly after around 1:30 a.m.
The new pals alsowatched Sunday’s Chiefs vs. Jets gameat MetLife Stadium from the same suite and were spotted chatting in between plays.

Over the years, Nicole and Brittany appeared to have a close friendship and regularly attended Chiefs games at Arrowhead Stadium together, posing for pictures on the sidelines.
The model even accompanied Brittany for pre-wedding festivities before the Mahomeses tied the knot last year — Nicole went wedding dress shopping with Brittany, and was one of the select few to come on her eight-person bachelorette weekend in Feb. 2022.
In an Instagram caption from Brittany’s wedding shower, Nicolewrote, “I know I’ve said it a million times but sooooo happy for you @brittanylynne, and thankful we get to share this momentous moment in your life! Love ya girl.”

The couple publicly split for the first time in August 2020, with Kelce confirming the breakup news after fans noticed Nicole had deleted pictures of the football player on her Instagram a week prior.
The confirmation came amid rumors that Kelce cheated on Nicole, which hedenied in a now-deleted tweetresponding to the allegations. “This is fake news… a lie… and not why Kayla and I broke up,” Kelce wrote on Twitter, per a screenshot from TMZ. “Take all your hatred somewhere else please.”

The pair got back together a few months later, in November. Kelce confirmed their reconciliation when he referred to Nicole as"my girlfriend"during an Instagram Live with WNBA basketball player Chiney Ogwumike. “She’s the best,” Kelce said about Nicole. “She’s the absolute best.”
In May 2022, the couple broke up for a final time.

A source previously told PEOPLE that “Cruel Summer” singer and the two-time Super Bowl champare “just hanging out” and “there’s no pressure"as they get to know each other.
“It’s super, super early days,” said the source. “They’re having fun and getting to know each other.”
