Worried about missing something during the three-hour runtime forAvengers: Endgame? There might be an app for that.
Fans of the highly-anticipated film until it opens Friday, but it’s never too early to begin creating gameplans for the best moviegoing experience — especially when bathroom breaks might be an issue.
Runpee.com is just one app that’s trying to give those fans the opportunity to enjoy all the action without missing the final battle between their favorite superheroes and the universe’s greatest villain.
The app sends cues to users on when to leave without missing important film moments, according to founder Dan Gardner who spoke toCNN.
“This is as big a movie as we’ve ever done for Runpee,” Gardner said.

If a moviegoer has missed out on key plot details, Gardner said the app gives information about what they’ve missed, explaining, “In most action movies, there’s a suiting up scene. That’s usually, like, the last pee time in the movie.”
Marvel President Kevin Feige toldio9earlier this month there won’t be any time for fans to have a bathroom break duringAvengers: Endgame.
“What I’ve always said is a movie is as long as it should be,” Feige, 45, said. “And we are no fans of overindulging movies. We are not fans of laborious lengths for no reason. We are fans of movies that you wish didn’t end.”

The screenwriters for the film Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely insist thefilm is as “lean” in its runtimeas possible in an interview with Vulture earlier this month.
“It’s exactly as long as it needs to be,” McFeely said. “Any shorter and it would have felt like we weren’t honoring all the threads and franchises that are feeding into this climax.”
The two also faced the challenge of culminating 11 years worth of movies, beginning with the release ofIron Manin 2008.
“Twenty-two movies in, not only has the movie earned its length, but people deserve a movie of that substance,” McFeely continued. “I swear to God, it sounds like a paradox to say this, but it’s a lean three hours!”
Markus added, “If we told you the entire universe got snapped out and we were gonna wrap it up in a tight 85, you’d have issues.”
